I followed the Ryan Adams blog post on building a cluster in Hyper-V a few months ago. I've been working with clusters for years but had never actually built one from the ground up. It really helped clear up some concepts for me, I found it extremely beneficial and I would definitely recommend following it.

Well, once you've deployed an Availability Group, it's impossible to just forget about about. It's an endless source of trouble tickets.

Well, once you've deployed an Availability Group, it's impossible to just forget about about. It's an endless source of trouble tickets.
Interesting - I am running both an FCI and an AG in the same cluster and have not had one trouble ticket based on either configuration. When I first implemented an AG I did run into a couple of issues...but once they were resolved I haven't had any issues.
What trouble tickets are you seeing related to AG?
