db_owner nad esecute permission

    I have given one user as db_owner.

    Do i still need to give "execute" permission on SP's to that user.

    No, members of db_owner can execute all stored procedures in the database. A note of caution: members of the db_owner role can drop the database in SQL 2005, so be careful about granting membership.
