  Hi,

  i'm using sql server 2005.

  if i see the extended properties of a column in my table it shows the collation as Arabic_CI_AI

  but if i run sp_help for the table and see the collation it shows

  SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

  for the same column?

  any idea why this difference?

  It's possible to specify a collation for a column when creating a table, this can be different from the default for the database.

  Please see Syntax for Create Table in BOL and look for
