  When I install a clustered instance of SQL Server 2008, account validation fails even though I have specified the correct domain account and password. This is a known issue which has been fixed in SP1 (CU1).

  Obviously i can not install SP before installing the server itself...

  At the moment ism trying to kick off the install from the command line...

  Has anyone else had the same problem?

  we followed this instruction (http://www.mssqltips.com/tip.asp?tip=1709) and installed successfully without any issue.
