    You are correct, the question was badly worded.  The correct answer is "5) None of the above are necessary in Windows 2003 and SQL Server 2000" because it is a step you would NOT take.

    To whom it may concern, may I suggest that the question should be:

    "Your network administrator recently changed the names of 3 servers.  Those servers happen to have SQL Server 2000 installed on them. After rebooting the Windows 2003 servers which of the following steps would you would have to follow in SQL Server to avoid errors caused by the rename?"
