Please consider either a per-profile option or just getting rid of the short page pagination. Active Threads in particular is a royal pain. My normal approach is to hit that, scan the whole list, reply to a few in new windows (or not) and be done.
Now I have to page and page and page to get through them. Painful. Especially at low bandwidths which I suspect some people still have.
