Cannot resolve collation conflict for equal to

    Dear all

    We have two servers, both running W2000 SP3 and SQL 2000 SP2.

    They r connected throught the internet.

    Both databases are on Collate : SQM_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

    The one server is a database behind a website showing articles or customers.

    The update is through a snapshot replication. When this has happened, we receive nothing but errors (see subject). Both servers have the same collation though.

    When we use DTS everything is fine.

    I already have some more info. My instance has SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI as collation, but my database hasSQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS as collation. It seems that SQL in the replication uses the instance collation in stead of the database collation. Is there a way to work around it ?
