SQL7.0 - Database switching to Single user Mode

     Hi

    I need help in understanding the reason as to why the database is switching to SingleUser mode automatically and thus creating problems for us. This is happening at random.

    Sounds unlikely to me, however, I'd look to make sure things like auto close are off.

    You might note that some maint options will put the database into single user  so if you have these defined look there.

    Other than that set a profiler trace

    Thanks. It did happen after the maint job was run. I gave a dboption for single user after the maint. job. That should take care of the switching thing.
