Remote Installation of SQLSERVER 2000 standard edition gets failed because

    Hi,

    while installing sqlserver on remote server following error has been reported. has any one encountered the same.Please let me know the solution for this issue

     

    CThreadPool::RunUntilCompleteHlpr WaitForMultipleObjects returned: 0

    CThreadPool::RunUntilCompleteHlpr the operation timed out.

    CThreadPool::RunUntilComplete returned 1460

    CThreadPool::RunUntilComplete execution level=1, need execution: 0

    One or more errors occurred while running the remote/unattended setups.

    NOte :

     I tried with both pcAnywhere and Remote desktop connection to connect to the remote server.

    Something went wrong with the installation. You might need to remove and reinstall. Are you an admin on the remote box? I'm assuming this was a remote install of SQL Server.

    Not sure what pcAnywhere or Remote Desktop have to do with things. they are completely separate from installaing SQL Server
