Replication Issue

    Hi Guys

    I have replication established between a number of SQL 2000 instalations across multiple domains and all works fine. However, periodically I get and error in replication "Login failed for user null Reason: not associated with a trusted connection." If we recreate the trust all works fine again for a while. What I don't understand is why we periodically lose the trust relationship. Any suggestions or explainations would be greatly appreciated.

    I'v had the same error happen periodiocally, but not really sure what the cause is . usually stopping and starting the SQL agent seems to fix it .

    I believe linked servers are required for replication.  How are your linked servers set up between publisher(s) and subscriber(s)?

    Check if the security is set for SQL server and windows authentication and audit level set to none. Probably this work fine. good luck
