Replication failed during processing the articles..

    hi everyone,

    I am stuck in a problem, im using merge replication but when my subscriber wants to connect to the publisher and processes the articles, everytime it stuck on a particular article and failed at that point and gives error "no response from the last 10 minutes from the publisher" and failed.

    i have tried many many times but every time it failed on processing that particular article.

    any solution????

    please help me otherwise i will be fired.....................

    Hello noman

    I think your article is a huge table ? No ?

    So, you have increase the time out of the replication monitoring

    In sql manager 2000 -> /Microsoft sql servers/YourServer/Replication Monitor

    Click right button and select "actualisation of your rates and parameters" (sorry i'm french menu and item must be different in english.

    Set the third field to 9999

    So if it is due to the lack of time it will go

    Otherwise try to see if your article isn't Lock by another software.

    You may want to try modifying the replication profile in the sql server.

    the amoutn of row per batch , give it an small number.

    go to tools\ replication\ configure publisshing\ agent profiles\ merge \modify from the enterprice manager  and in the download generation per bacth chae it to and small number.
