Home Forums SQL Server 7,2000 General NT 4.0 / SQL 6.5 can be intalled in a XEON Server ? RE: NT 4.0 / SQL 6.5 can be intalled in a XEON Server ?

  • Hi Rafael,

Sorry for the US slang -- it is very difficult not to use it sometimes.  By flaky, I mean that it is not as robust as 7 or 2000; with 2000, I have had no true operational problems in over 3 years.

Sometimes I had issues on the 6.5 systems where shutdowns were required.  I don't remember exactly what they were now (possibly memory related), but I remember it as having been "flaky".

    Regards,
