Database Mail

    Hi All

    I am facing a problem with database mail, when i configured database mail and send a test mail, say one to my office address and the other to my personal address, my office mail address recives the mail instantly and my personal mail dosent, instead it is returned to my office address for the second time, does any one faced this problem before? please advise me on this

    Can you check whether you have enabled mail forwarding in your personal mail or check whether the admin has blocked sending mail to third party mail provider other than your official exchange server??? Because you are able to send mail successfully to the office mail ID this represents you have correctly configure db mail.

    Agreed.

    There seems to be nothing wrong with your DatabaseMail. It works just fine.

    Any issues with mails not being recieved or such, is something with the SMTP server you're using.

    i have asked my system admin to check exchange server and this fixed the problem
