I am recreating an existing Essbase application in Analysis Services and am not as familiar with Analysis Services. I have some ragged hierarchies where I use nulls for the upper level members. Is there an easy way to set things up in Analysis Services so the members automatically promote?
I've tried switching things around a little so the lower level members of the ragged dimension are NULL and used the "hide if" property. This works well for me, but please post if there is an even easier way.
