  • First step of becoming a DBA is learning how to find stuff like this out... visit the Microsoft WebSite.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.
"Change is inevitable... change for the better is not".

  • Considering there isn't a MCDBA certification for SQL Server 2005. It has been broken out into 3 different certifications. As Jeff said, check the Microsoft Web site. This is the best place to find that information.

  • I m new in this field,so I have not clear idea about the MCITP , MCTS and MCSE.

If I want to be a sql server 2005 dba then in these 3 which one i should do first and then second one.

    Thanx

    Ajay

    Thanks

  • Again... Lookup SQL Server Certification on the Microsoft Website...

  • guptaajay1985, one link is http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/bb291022.aspx (also accessible from the main microsoft.com page with some simple searches)

MCDBA is dead/being retired. The certification track, at least for SQL 2005 (no more for 2000), is MCTS -> MCITP

    Look it up for details.
