Sugesh, your script doesn't show multiple instances on one box. Also, it's showing databases that are off-line or suspect (which may or may not be desirable, for me, I wouldn't want off-line DBs).
This is a tricky little problem! I'd like to experiment with the linked server approach, but I'm not sure about identifying the multiple instances issue.
