Your terminology is strange. You should have created a domain account in Active Directory not a DNS entry. Or atleast thats what I think your looking for.

I am using 64 bit SSRS to read a text file into a report using the ACE driver. Make sure you install the 64bit version of the driver.

Compact Edition uses a local database file and cannot be accessed by remote computers unless the database file can be accessed thru a file share.

We run about 30 SQL instances on one server for our development teams. We don't have any technical issues. Resource Management can be a task though.
