    This was from scripting directly from enteprise manager, not creating a script manually... Surely Enteprise Manager should also qualify the name when creating the stored procedure!

    Have you tried using DBCC INDEXDEFRAG instead? This is not classed as an offline process, does this still use a large amount of CPU?

    Thanks for the replies.... But when you use All tasks - Generate scripts for stored procedures, the dbo does not get added to the CREATE PROCEDURE part of the script...
