So you've set up your replication and you now see replication jobs within the agent..is that correct ?
One should be a snapshot agent job. For your transactional replication, I'm guessing...

And your test environments are configured the same, albeit with less resources.

Rebuilding indexes online is only available in Enterprise or Developer editions..which I suspect you already know.

Why don't you archive the data to a csv that can be zipped up into a fraction of the space..that way you have a fall back if the data is...

With 2008 you can also use CDC (Change Data Capture) or Change Tracking. Both are useful but require a little thought on what your needs are.
Another option is Audit triggers...

I recall an article by Microsoft that might help..it discusses using Alias' with the Client Network Utility

Have you checked how the multiple rows are being generated.
Look at the replication tables on the subscriber and test what happens when you make a change to a record.

So the records are in the publisher and the subscriber but you want to remove them from the subscriber.
Not sure that's the right thing to do ??

Hi,
Well, unless you can get some downtime, I'm not sure you are going avoid losing some records..but i could be wrong.
You will need to remove the table from the publication...
