You would benefit from a performance perspective if you created a separate connection for your lookup. Have you tried creating another connection and using that for your lookup?

If you aren't interested in the time period in the where clause you can convert your A.Date1 to remove the time. I always manually update the stats on the production servers. I do not want SQL Server deciding to add to the overhead, I have enough problems.

Implemented it on my testserver and it went fine. I always get errorinfo in jobhistory and jobstephistory when applicable . (authorities, file in use, disk full,..)I hope you find more errorinfo in jobhistory, jobstephistory, sqlserver-log, win-eventlog.
