What is the procedure for starting MSSQL Server in Single User Mode. When I give the command \mssql7\binn\sqlservr.exe -c -m from the Command prompt the server starts coming up but after a few mins it halts. In short the sql server does not start in single user mode on my PC.

If your in coming data is sorted according to the index specified in the destination table you get will sorted data. If, however, the data file is sorted in different order or no order is specified records will inserted randomly.
