Thanks for the link to further details on how to set this up. As it turns out, security on the objects in the Access database were not being enforced. I was able to map to 'Admin' with a NULL password without having to point to the system.mdw file in the registry.CSDunn

It's been a long while, but I seem to remember performance decreasing when I upgraded from NT 4 to Windows 2000. Performance increased when I upgraded from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. The databases I had at the time were fairly small (under 5 GB) and not very heavilly utlizied. Your experience may be different.
