Thanks Brian, I'm not so concerned with Access users hitting my box, but I am concerned with breaking something inside SQL itself. I have seen share c$, D$ or whatever disappear sometime. To comfirm it, Go to start --> run --> type \\servername\d$ to see whether you can go into the directory.
