I guess the easiest way to move objects to a different filegroup would be to use Enterprise Manager. Look at BOL for filegroups -> switching filegroup for table Frank http://www.insidesql.de http://www.familienzirkus.de

Yes that should work. But you must be sure no transactions where made in the middle because they won't be replicated.
