I would assume it's from the END of the full backup, based on: a) LSNs in the headers of full and differential backups don't overlap. b) Full backups provide data integrity to the END time of the backup. c) I can't imagine a full backup clearing the DCM until it's finished backing up. Also I want to add that when you have several articles when there is an sync error, SQL doesn't indicate exactly which table is halting the whole replication. In case you have 40 or 50 replicated tables................wooop

To get the length of a column, you can use the following function: COLUMNPROPERTY( OBJECT_ID('tablename'),'columnname','PRECISION') It seems the query optimizer should evaluate it only once instead of for every row.

Hi, Please Check whether you have applied all the service packs.microsoft has confirmed this to be problem in SQL 2000.where the database list loads slower in Enterprise Manager.even i was facing the same issue.once the SP's were applied this problem was overcome Cheers, Anees Ahmed M
