SQLServerCentral.com Blogs

,

Yes, we've joined the bandwagon and added blogs to the site. It's something that we've toyed with for a long time, the three of us split on whether it is worth it, necessary, even wanted. We even went so far as to start development using the .TEXT framework that Microsoft had developed, but never quite got it integrated and let it go for awhile to tackle more pressing items.

You can view the blogs at our community server blog site. There's not too many entries there yet, but it's slowly growing.

Anyway, we were approached by a few Microsoft SQL Server MVPs and employees who were interested in finding a new home and SQLServerCentral.com is, after all, THE SQL Server community, so we decided to get into gear.

The Community Server project, built and maintained by Telligent Systems seemed like a good fit for us and it's in wide use in the Microsoft community. So Brian picked it up and went to work and soon we had blogs.

I've delayed the announcement for a few days, hoping to get some more entries in there, but vacations, the next CTP, and more have kept many people busy this month, so I'm just putting things out there and hopefully we'll see some activity and you'll find this to be an interesting place to learn more about the people that work with SQL Server as well as how they think about issues and problems.

We'd also like to offer blogs to anyone in the community if you're interested. Drop a note to articles at sqlservercentral dot com and we'll get you setup.
