Main Presentation: Introduction to Extended Events

 

Come find out about extended events, the future successor to Profiler. We’ll dig into what extended events are and how to use them in real-world scenarios to see what’s going on inside of SQL Server. We’ll compare and contrast extended events with Profiler and see why you will want to add them to your collection of SQL tools.

 

Presenter: Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson has been designing databases, architecting solutions and generally involved with SQL Server since its release. He works as a consultant, focusing on SQL Server and also teaches SQL classes for a major tech education company.
