    Hi!

    Thanks for all the study material, it is really well organized. Do you perhaps know where I can find some preparation tests? I found online some books but it all costs around 120$ and I don't even know if it's worth.

    Cris - The three main vendors for legitimate preparation tests are Transcender, Self Test Software and MeasureUp. Transcender and Self Test are both owned by Kaplan so really they are the same company but sell the products under different brand names. None of these have released a SQL Server 2012 preparation test yet.

    Microsoft's answer to this conundrum has been to offer the Second Shot promotion so that you can retake the test for free if you fail it the first time, effectively giving you to real test as a practice test. You can find more details about the Second Shot on Microsoft's web site.

    Whatever you decide to do, don't under any circumstances use a "braindump" or "actual exam" web site as these materials are cheating.

    I'm studying for this also, taking the exam next Friday. I'm using the Skills Measured list and the page from Emil (thanks for sharing!). So mostly reading up on BOL.

    Passed it this morning, thought it was a pretty tough exam. I'm very happy though, 2 more exams to go for my MCSA 🙂

    We have added to our 70-461 Exam Guide link to SQL Telephone Interview Questions.... 30 questions in total (without answers) on 3 levels. These are not exam questions and may not represent exam topics but hopefully you can practice on them a little bit 😉

    dumps violate the agreement with MS. if found that you used dumps your certs can and will be revoked. Those tests are designed to test your knowledge of the material, not how well you can regurgitate memorized data.

    Also, there is no need to spam the group.

    Ben-Gan and some other authors just published a book on this exam, "Training Kit (Exam 70-461): Querying Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012," from O'Reilly. It is also available as an e-book, and it includes a 200-question practice exam.

    The first review on amazon.com is not very good but I suspect this is just someones frustration..let's face it the book will cover main aspects but not everything in details that would be x10 books ;)...

    I will be buying the book for my wife who will be preparing for the exam and I'll check the content and compare to exam questions I had...
