We are running SQL 2000 SP# over Windows 2003 enterprise, with transactional replication running and an Access 97 front end.
Here is the issue, it has happened 3 times now. The system stops accepting data requests out of Access but the web interface works just fine. The last time it happened log reader came back with "The process could not execute 'sp_replcmds' on SERVER. There were no blocked processes at the time. I am at a complete loss to explain/fix this behavior and it is having a huge impact on production. We use the Access 97 front end for production and the web interface for receiving and reporting.
