  When I attempt to run my DTS Pkg that contains ActiveX

  task, I get following error:

  "ActiveX Scripting was not able to initialize the script

  execution engine"

  When I run this from another computer, it runs fine.

  I checked my MDAC version, by running the MDAC Component

  Checker on both computers, they both show "2.7 RTM Refresh

  (2.70.9001.0)"

  Any ideas?

  Hi,

  Try to re-register the axscphst.dll file on you server.

  Regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\axscphst.dll
