adding users on Mirrored device

    There is a project here that they have started usinging mirroring. They have added a bunch of users and groups to the Principal but not to the Mirror.  I was woundering if there are any tips or gotchas before I setup the addtional users on the mirror?

    I know that with log shipping, you cannot add users to the secondary database that do not exist in the primary databse . 

    Just Wondering? Can you add users that are not in the primary database to the mirror?  

     

    For log shipping, i have the users in both production and my secondary failover...but the IDs are disabled on my primary side at the system login level.
