Advice needed on fixing replication job

    Hi,

    I'm new to SQL 2005 and I need some advice on fixing a replication problem, when I check the replication monitor, there is an error and when I look at the details, I see that the 'Publisher to Distributor' is running but the 'Distributor to Subscriber' has an error.

    When I check the job, it has failed due to not being able to connect to the Subscriber.

    If I simply start the job again, will this fix my problem or cause more?

    Seems like a security issue. Even if you restart the job you will get the same error.

    I believe I have now fixed all security issues and the Subscriber is running, If I restart the job now, will it fix the 'distributer to subscriber' error even though the 'publisher to distributer' is running?
