Alt. snapshot folder for SQL Express merge replication PULL subscription

    Is it possible to specify an alternate snapshot folder for a PULL subscription on SQL Server 2005 Express? I would like to be able to initialize the subscription from a local copy of the snapshot folder.

    I do not see and issues to happen when trying Alternate Snapshot Folder for SQL Server 2005 Express.

    But I believe you are aware of the Limitation of Pull Subscription in SQL Express. SQL Express doesn’t have Agent so you need to have a custom agent using RMO or have to use Windows Synchronization Manager.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am aware of the limitations. That is why I was not sure the alt snapshot folder would work without the agent but it looks like it works fine.
