We are moving to a central tape storage system using IBM software called Tivoli.
All I have now is one machine running TDP for a server that has 2 instances. I have the gui and command line working with the robotic tape system. Here is my question.
Documentation mentions 'META DATA'. A subojbect for each backup that should be set on it own management class and kept on disk only (no migration to tape). I want / need more information on this 'META DATA'. I am not seeing it backed up and I can not query it using "tdpsqlc query tsm...".
Anyone using this? Know of information sources?
