Application ConnectionString when Failover occured

    We have implemented a test environment with HA. I want to test it from my application by providing ConnectionString in web config file so that incase of failover, it should point to Primary AG automatically (after failover). I do not see any such help on connectionstring.com that covers this scenario yet.

    Let me now how others are doing this? what steps/understanding is required?

    Hi,

    If you are using an availability group then it would be a case of setting the connection string equal to the listener address that will in turn direct traffic to the active instance
