So what job sites do people use these days?Really depends. Dice, CareerBuilder, Monster, there are a lot. My current position I found through InDeed. I have an interview for a possible position next week that I have seen on several web sites but going through a Recruiter.
By the way, I am excited but sort of ambivalent as I really don't want to leave where I am working at the moment, I am told there is a lot for me to do as a SQL Server Professional, I just don't see it at this time.
Monster has a nasty habit of throwing Administrative Assistant jobs at people looking for Database Administrator jobs. Because apparently we all want to make less money taking notes at meetings and answering phones rather than what we're really doing.

I have a nice setup at home, an ASUS ROG Gaming Computer (just wanted the power, don't really use it to play games (often)) with 17" display and 3 ASUS 28" UHD monitors. Just need a better desk.

Since adding this as a question on my standard interview I have interviewed around 20-30 people. Now we are a bit different in that we hire developers who also have to write their own sql. But of those 20-30 in the last couple years I have had exactly 1 person who could answer this. That person was hired. We have another new person starting next week who couldn't answer that one. But since this is a developer position primarily we based that decision on their .net ability and in that part of the job they knocked it out of the park. So I will have to help them with the sql part but will likely learn some new skills from them on the .net side of the world.

Sean, does this mean that you do not call people who write T-SQL 'developers'?
That sounds a bit like not calling drummers musicians!
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

Hello everyone,
Been good? Back from the boat. Had a great time (probably a little too good on Saturday night since all the work was done). Blog got hacked, but I think I'm recovered (although now it looks as ugly as sin since I nuked the old template and have installed a new one to ensure that was not the avenue of attack, plus, the old template didn't support mobile, wasn't HTML5, etc.). Changed about six different passwords plus disabling FTP and some other things, again, just in case. Still working on a final set of two-factor authentication. YAY!
