Wow. So apparently I learn something new every day with SQL Server. Yesterday, I accidentally learned that if you highlight a section of code in a SSMS query window and do a find-replace on the "current document", it will only do the find-replace on the highlighted section and leave all other code on the current document as is.
That's a fun thing to know.

The selection option is really handy, and something I wish ADS had. The Regex Support is very useful too (the
.*option in the window).Do you know about holding down the Alt key while using the select the same position on multiple lines? it's super useful (you can hold down shift to highlight too).

Yeah, I saw someone post about that one several months ago and I've been using it ever since.
Previously we'd been doing that in UltraEdit. It was nice to know I didn't have to cut-n-paste between programs to do that.

Agreed. Pittsburgh is the best SQL Saturday I've ever attended! They do a amazing job.

And that is no slight on the other SQL Saturdays. It takes a good bit of dedication and good planning to make an SQL Saturday and I've not seen a bad one yet (hats off to all you folks that made them happen!). With one exception for a parking problem, Cleveland, Columbus, Cinncinati, and Colorado Springs (funny how they all start with a C) and Providence (haven't been there in a while, going this late summer) have all been great . Pittsburgh and Cleveland have been my "mains" that I've attended every year for the last 5 or 6 years or so.

What version of SSMS? I don't experience that. But it does sometimes change the drop down for "Look in" to "Selection".

Time to start figuring out my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice sessions for each block!

Just to be sure, are you talking about Columbus or Pittsburgh? I'm assuming "Columbus" because i don't believe Pittsburgh has announced yet.
