Just in case anyone is interested, 40 years ago today, Apollo 11 launched for the first lunar landing. The event has been recreated at this web site We Chose The Moon[/url] and they are broadcasting the original recordings of the flight.
They have bunch of video and pictures as well with the launch and stuff. Neil Armstrong will be landing on the moon Monday night.

Ooooohhhh! There's an idea that Hollywood might be able to put to good use! Remaking old movies! Wow! I wonder why nobody ever thought of it before! :hehe:

Gail ALWAYS remains the utmost professional, regardless of the situation. I don't know that I've seen any posts that have sent her off the deep end. She'll simply quit posting when the OP doesn't, or won't, follow the advice given. Truly, another Saint (guru, whatever, etc.) in the group - IMHO.

What's scary is that, at a rank of 460 (as of today), that's a lot of questions and yet he does not seem to be getting far in his DBA duties. I'm sure he can find a book somewhere, or use Google (such as searching for "torn pages"+bitmask+"SQL Server")? Half the time, these lead to the Microsoft site hosting Books Online.

Sorry if I sounded heartless, LOL. Would love it if folks use official online resources, as well as BOL, before hitting the forums. But I have noticed a lot of folks may not seem to be familiar with the concept of BOL on their machines, thinking it is only an online resource they have to log into Microsoft for. Am I wrong or is that the impression others have gotten?

You can't protect people from themselves, so I've promised myself not to waste energy (both on SSC and in my general social interactions) on "needy" people who don't have an earnest interest to learn.

Well, I have been enjoying my time off work, but I haven't been doing much soccer officiating so far. Tournament started on Monday and today was the first time I hit the pitch. I am a bit upset that refs from Denver have had more games assigned than refs from the Springs. In fact today, I think I only saw 2 or 3 refs from the Springs at the tournament, with the rest being from Denver.
Oh well, I'll be back to work on Monday.

just curious, how much officiating do you usually do, monsieur le ref? 😉 Seems like you're always talking about just having done or about to do.
I try to work 3 or 4 tournaments a year. Depending on the tournament, that can be anywhere from 2 days to 7 days long. The PPI, the tournament running this week, is a 7 day tournament. The others are usually just 2 or 3 days.
My regular season with AYSO (I'm the Regional Referee Administrator for our local region) consists of 2 9 week seasons, Fall and Spring. I can usually do 4 games every Saturday during those seasons. At the tournament, except this year at the PPI, I can do anywhere from 3 to 6 games in a day depending on the age group assigned.
