Think she'll catch the reference to Kelly's Heroes?

Wasn't Oddball the one that complained about 'all the negative waves, man?'

I forget who was being negative in the film.

You are right, Moriarty was the one with all the negative thoughts and Oddball was the one complaining about it.

  • Edited my previous post, but the short video clip deserves a new one.

I have to rewatch that film now!

I've been using Gmail for at least 5 years now. I delete very few emails. SCC notification I do delete. My mailbox is only 9% full.

Same here, but I never delete the notifications...mailbox is 2% full.

Conversation grouping really takes the sting out of Thread notifications.

yes it does. It is very nice.

Of course not. It's a phone. Use it for calls. We have been over this before

And an awesome film it is. I love the showdown between Clint, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland and a German tank. If I am remembering correctly, the tumbleweed that passes by is the final touch on that scene.

    Lynn,

I think you need to ignore the posts that aren't on topic in the cert thread. Just skip them like they are not present.

I wish I had an invisibility button for some posts.

Okay, I'm just going to have ignore Moriarty until I see something constructive.

... Wrong or not, you're a better man than I am Gunga Lynn.

    ...

    Love the parody.

Perhaps we need more discussions like this, between close friends and even strangers. Maybe that is part of the problem with our government today. Everyone thinks that only government can solve our problems, and we have stopped looking to the real source of power, the people.

We have allowed professional politicians to take over what should belong to the people. Perhaps it is time for new revolution here in the States, not an armed one, but one at the ballot box. A grass roots effort to get rid of the professional politician and put real people into Congress and the White House (as well as into state and local governments) people that know what we are all experiencing every day.

I personally believe that politicians today have lost touch with those the purport to represent. All they are truly interested in is getting elected and staying elected. And telling us what is best for us.

No arguments here. I believe in bootstraps & freedom.
