Audit level Failure

    I modified the audit level to show failed login attempts in the sql log (via the Security tab on Server properties) but failures aren't showing up in the log...am I missing something?

    Have you restarted the data server already?

    Did you reproduce failed logins? Maybe no one failed yet? And Kory is right, you need to restart SQL Server for many of the server properties changes.
