Can you password protect data in DTS?

  We are using DTS on a SQL Server 2000 server, to import data.

  We are aware that there are 2 types of password in DTS, Owner and User.

  Do these protect the data that is being imported...or they just apply to the Editing or Running of the package?

  DTS package passwords protect the package, not any data that the package may process.
