I have a synonym that has been created long ago...it was never properly cleaned and now, I cannot create a synonym with the same name (need to for code...not my app..from vendor)....... I can't drop it either, because I assume it references a linked server...and that server is long gone.
I wonder if I have to recreate the base object or if somehow I can force them to be deleted? Any advice?
