Whenever I right click on a database and select Properties, I receive the following error.
Cannot show requested dialog. (SqlMgmt)
Property Owner is not available for Database '[dbname]'. This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due ot insufficient access rights. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)
What is causing and how do I remedy it?

Do you have the required priviliges to do that?
As what user you are logging on?

I used to be able to perform this function, but last week they had to do a password modification for the Windows login. What privilage)s) should be set?

I've had this happen to me. Change the owner of the db.
