Hi all,
We are in the process of migrating to SQL Server 2014 from SQL Server 2008 R2 and are looking at the new feature Cluster Shared Volumes to help us get around the issue of nearly running out of drive letters on our current SQL cluster.
I've watched the Step-by-Step to Deploying Microsoft SQL Server 2014 with Cluster Shared Volumes presentation and also read through some other Microsoft documentation.
Was wondering what peoples experiences are of implementing and using this feature, what gotcha's there might be connected to this feature i.e does it support FILESTREAM , Analysis Services. Are all application able to utilise this feature ?
Is there a better way to overcome the issue of running out of drive letters, we aleady use mount points for our logs and tempdb luns.
Many thanks in advance
Francis
