Hi ALL,
As first step in the clustering process , I created a VM (installed Server 2008). I also have a static ip address, with gateway as my home router. I also disabled windows firewall and UAC.
Problem
1) When I try to ping the host machine from the VM or vice versa, it fails. When I go to the network connections it shows it is connected to an unidentified network. I was prompted the the login/pwd when I tried to access the router admin page.
2) In the network connections it also shows no connection to the Internet.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
P.S: Its an evaluation edition and I haven't activated it yet.
