Clusters and Log Shipping

    Has anyone had any issues with using log shipping on active/passive cluster configuration?

    You it could explain its intention better, you wants to use log shipping of cluster active/passive for one another one box sql stand alone?  If its intention will be this does not have problems, a clusterized instance of SQL  has the equal behavior to a stand-alone instance.

    We have an active/passive cluster where the database is also log-shipped to a separate server for reporting.  Works fine.  Does that answer your question?

    I used to have (at a previous job) an Active/Passive cluster that Log Shipped a database to another Active/Passive cluster.

    The Log Shipping (on Enterprise Server) is all through SQL Server Agent jobs, so it really shouldn't make a difference whether you are using clusters or stand-alone servers.
