compare databases running on different machines

    How do I compare databases, userd,logins,permissions between 2 sql server2k running on different machines?

    Is any sp available which will compare  the two servers and give a detail report.If any row in any table in any db mismatches it should genarate the necessary error.

    We use Red-Gate's SQL compare and SQL data compare tools (http://www.red-gate.com) for all of our moves from development servers to production servers.

    They offer a 14-day fully functional demo of the software. In my experience, their tool beats anything I could have written, for a price that doesn't hurt my budget.
