I have a windows 2008 SQL cluster failover with two nodes. I upgraded one with the sql 2005 instance with the DE successfully. When i upgraded the other node i keep getting an error with the SQL Server Configuration Manager (SSCM). Whenever I try, i have to wait for about 30-40 seconds then get error message : Connection to target machine could not be made in a timely fashion.
I already tried re-registered and restarting WMI. Also ran the wmi diagnostic tool and i got no errors. But the SSCM error remains(only in this node), is there anything else i can try?
