hi everyone,
can anyone please help me
i have configured database mail, we dont have Mail server(smtp), so i have used gmail. am getting following error
The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2011-02-25T13:19:44). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 74.125.127.109:587).
am using smtp.google.com, my gmail username, gmail port number 587
can someone tell me, can i configure database mail without mail server?

check what your given credential while setting database profile account. ....
