Database Snapshots folder

    Hi All,

    I recently noticed two Database Snapshot subfolders under the Databases folder within SSMS. I'm pretty sure we only had one up until recently. I have no idea how these folders get created especially as we're not using the Database Snapshots feature.

    Does anyone know how these folders get created (I presume one is created by the initial install but the other?) Can these be deleted and if so how?

    Quick Update...

    Perhaps I should have mentioned that i'm using the 2008 R2 version of SSMS to manage our SQL 2005 environment.

    This morning I started to see 2 x System Databases folders as well as 2 x Database Snapshots folders within SSMS! A not so quick restart of SSMS reverted me back to just 1 of each. I generally leave my laptop logged in during the working week and only shut it down for weekends.

    So I presume it's a SQL 2008 R2 SSMS client issue?
